Atelier Peluca was founded by me, Sam Beadle, a wig maker with over a decade of experience specialising in hard cap wigs for retail display mannequins, pantomime, and drag. Throughout my career I have worked with and designed wigs and makeup for the leading mannequin companies in the world including, Adel Rootstein, Hans Boodt, Bonaveri Etc and has have had my wigs in windows of luxury retailers and department stores such as Macy's, Bloomingdales, Selfridges, Harrods, Liberty, Georgio Armani etc.  I began my career as a hairdresser before training as a wig maker, eventually establishing my own company, Peluca Studio, some years later.    I take pride in the fact that we are the last remaining company in the world dedicated to crafting traditional mannequin wigs for window displays, committed to preserving the art of this unique craft.

That brings me to Atelier Peluca.. It makes sense that I would end up here, making wigs for ball jointed dolls, since the techniques are borrowed from display mannequin wigs, just on a miniature scale.
